When September comes, Jeff Samardzija could be trading his Iowa Cubs uniform for a Chicago Cubs uniform.
In his second start for Iowa, Shark produced his first ever win at the Triple A level.
Samardzija gave up just one run on four hits, while striking out six en route to six strong innings of work against the Alburquerque Isotopes in a 7-5 win in Des Moines.
Shark even helped himself out with an RBI single in the 5th inning.
